Our Mission
Our mission is simple yet powerful:
To expose corruption, misconduct, and systemic failures at all levels of municipal governance.
To give voice to victims and whistleblowers who have been silenced or ignored.
To provide verified documentation and investigative reporting that the public can trust.
To advocate for meaningful reform in city governments, law enforcement, and local courts.
At its core, this platform stands as a watchdog for truth and justice. We believe that no city, no institution, and no official is above scrutiny. The people deserve full access to the facts, free from manipulation or cover-up.
"The Corruption Report exists to hold power accountable by uncovering the truth, amplifying the voices of the silenced victims, and demanding transparency and accountability from those who govern our communities."
David E. Adams

Our Story
Our journey into advocacy and exposing corruption began more than four decades ago, long before The Corruption Report had a name. Over 40 years ago, we began to see cracks in the system—cases that didn’t add up, victims who weren’t heard, and communities left in the dark about what was really happening behind the curtain of local government. What started as a personal calling quickly became a lifelong mission: to hold power accountable and to stand up for those who had been silenced.
We learned early on that true justice cannot exist without transparency and accountability. Through years of investigation, legal research, and advocacy, we uncovered patterns of misconduct that were not isolated incidents but symptoms of a much larger problem: a system that too often protects itself rather than the people it serves. From that point forward, we committed ourselves to pulling back the veil of secrecy, documenting corruption, and giving citizens the truth they deserve.
Transparency and Accountability
Without transparency, there is no accountability. Without accountability, governments and agencies are free to operate as rogue entities, victimizing the very people they were elected or appointed to serve. We believe that secrecy breeds corruption, and corruption destroys trust. Our work aims to restore that trust by revealing the truth—even when it’s uncomfortable, even when it’s dangerous, and even when it challenges deeply entrenched systems of power.
We draw inspiration from our nation’s Founding Fathers, who built this country on the principles of liberty, justice, and the belief that power should always be questioned. As Thomas Jefferson once wrote: "The whole art of government consists in the art of being honest." When honesty is abandoned, citizens must demand it.
Why We Exist
The Corruption Report is not just another news outlet or investigative blog. It is a movement driven by citizens for citizens. With more than four decades of combined experience in legal research, criminal investigation, murder scene analysis, and state and federal appeals, Ghost Investigations has uncovered patterns of corruption that others have either ignored or deliberately concealed.
We’ve seen firsthand how local governments can manipulate statistics to appear safe while residents live in fear. We’ve spoken with victims whose voices were erased from court records, families who were denied justice, and whistleblowers who faced retaliation for speaking out. Our mission is to make sure their stories are told and that those responsible are held to account.
A Call for Change
Corruption thrives in darkness. It survives when good people stay silent. At The Corruption Report, we refuse to stay silent. By combining investigative journalism with legal expertise and grassroots advocacy, we aim to create a safer, more transparent future for every community.
We believe that truth is not just a right; it’s a necessity for a functioning democracy. Every resident and visitor deserves to know the truth about the communities they live in, work in, and visit.
The Corruption Report is here to pull back the curtain, expose wrongdoing, and stand as a beacon for those who have been silenced for far too long.
